This was our 2nd time visiting the Obloy Family Ranch in Merritt Island, Florida. The first time was a birthday gift for the middle mini over a year ago. We enjoyed it so much that when I saw it on Groupon – we knew we had to go again. I would suggest checking Groupon if you are going to go, we were able to use our money saved from that deal to buy more food for the animals!

This time, it was much busier than last, which was awesome to see! We also noticed they added monster truck rides which we added on because.. well why not?

We saw many animals that I would have expected to see: Cows, Birds, Pigs, Sheep, Donkeys {my fav!}, Horses, Ponies, Llamas.. the list goes on.

We also saw some more exotic type animals that I wouldn’t have initially expected to see here like a Kangaroo, Camels, Zebra, Buffalo, and an Emu!

We do have a favorite animal here! His name is Rodeo. He is a super small cow! The first time we visited (2 years ago), Rodeo was out and about and would follow you around the whole petting area. He was definitely a highlight! We couldn’t wait to see him again this round. He has grown a bit and needs to be in a pin. We were happy to feed him again! Despite our strong efforts to adopt Rodeo.. he will remain at the farm to be loved by all!

Middle Mini with Rodeo in 2018

After the animals, we moved onto our monster truck ride. I really didn’t even want to do it- I was just trying to please the smallest mini but the other 2 minis were interested also so we thought what the heck.. lets just all do it.

I am so glad I joined because this was definitely the highlight of our trip. You guys know how much I love animals- but I tell you we laughed so hard on this ride that it was a perfect way to end the day! It was my first time on a 5 ton and oh boy, I initially thought the seat belts were overkill. It wasn’t long into the ride before I thought we were going to fall out, haha!

Thanks to the Obloy Family Farm for letting us enjoy a piece of your home. It may have satisfied my recent desire to get a donkey. Now I know where to go when I am about to do something crazy like that <3!
